Dasher ratings help the dasher to track your performance on the platform. In DoorDash, the ratings are calculated based on the rolling system. It means the older dash ratings will be replaced by the new ratings. In DoorDash, customers can rate the food and delivery service separately. So, the ratings of the dasher only reflect his/her customer service experience and satisfaction. Date ratings determine if you’re eligible to dash, and can also help you qualify for special programs and incentives. DoorDash has strong policies when it comes to user ratings. DoorDash always tries to make the ratings fair and remove any customer ratings that are below 5 stars in these circumstances:
1. Long wait times at restaurants (>10 minutes)

DoorDash introduced an incentive program named Top Dasher for independent contractors in order to encourage DoorDash drivers to perform well. If a dasher can meet a certain number of performance standards as of 11:59 PM local time on the last day of the month then he/she will meet the Top Dasher requirements. In order to become the top dasher, you have to meet some requirements. Below are some requirements –

DoorDash usually takes the last 100 ratings you received and calculates an average rating. If your last 100 ratings added up to 470 then your average rating is 4.7. If you haven’t received 100 ratings then your total ratings will be divided by the number of ratings you have received.

According to this requirement, you have to accept at least 70 or more of the last 100 delivery offers DoorDash sent to you. Here acceptance rate means when a DoorDash offer comes in, how many times do you hit the accept? When you receive a delivery offer, an Accept button appears at the bottom of the screen. So, if you want to meet the requirement then you have to accept more than 70 orders per 100 orders.
3. Completion Rate Of At Least 95%
The completion rate is different from the Acceptance rate. Completion rate means every 100 orders you have accepted how many of them you have completed the delivery. There might be circumstances when you might have chosen to back out of the delivery. To meet the DoorDash requirement, you have to complete 95 out of the last 100 deliveries to qualify for Top Dasher.
