Hayneedle gives its customers 30 days from the delivery date to return eligible items—for any reason. If you happen to make a purchase around November or December, then you can also either get a refund or a replacement for your returns. But if you would prefer a replacement, you will need to place a new order as they are no longer in stock during these months as Hayneedle is closed due to the holiday season while they’re building their inventory in preparation for the next year and placing their forthcoming orders.
How To Return an Item to Hayneedle
Hayneedle offers its customers returns by mail. If your item is eligible for a return, follow the following steps:
Step 1: Launch the Hayneedle website and click Start a return page and log in to your account
Step 2: Locate the Return center
Step 3: Then enter and submit the necessary information
Step 4: Check under Label Fee to see your shipping costs—if applicable
Step 5: Select Self-return if you are responsible for the shipping costs and prefer to use a different carrier
Step 6: Write down the return address specific to your return
Step 7: Print your return merchandise authorization (RMA)
Step 8: Pack your item and the RMA slip—add your contact information, order number, and the reason for return, if needed
Step 9: Remove old labels from the box and attach your return label
Step 10: Write your RMA number and your return address on the outside of the box

Just like we said earlier, Hayneedle allows customers to return most eligible items within 30 days from the date of delivery. Items ineligible for return include the following:
- Opened mattresses

Return Shipping Cost
Depending on your reason for making a return, you might be responsible for paying for return shipping which includes the cost of shipping and handling, returns that qualify for free shipping will include the corresponding label and not incur any charges. Packaging Your Return:
When packing an item to return, make sure you fill it with padding and wrap it securely so nothing will move around inside the box. Returning an item to Hayneedle is quite simple and straightforward!
