However, there are circumstances in which you cannot return items that broke due to something you did. For example, if you download a virus on your new laptop and it breaks down then we won’t take it back under any circumstance because it’s not the store’s fault and we can’t just go ahead and educate every customer that comes in before they even enter the premises! You must have all the parts included with the item (including chargers, memory cards etc) and when returning a computer you will need to make sure that all of your data is backed up appropriately so that we can quickly restore things for you again at our end once next steps are taken!
4. 14 Days
Devices, like both prepay and contract cellphones, can be returned only to the original store they were purchased from within 14 days. Cellphones must be returned as quickly as possible because of policies established by the wireless companies themselves, who need to recycle devices in order to keep up with the rapid speed of technology. Devices that have been returned from customers can be refurbished and resold.
5. Final Sale Items
Walmart will not accept returns on the following items under any circumstances:
- Dirt bikes
- Undergarments
- Prescription medication
- Trading cards
- Tires
- Firearms and ammunition
- Adult toys
- RV sewer lines
All of these items have clear labeling on them to show that they have been used. If you happen to purchase one of these and then do not need it any longer, there are other ways to resell them because technology is everywhere no matter what type of name brand you’re looking for.
